KHA Quality Webinar: Kentucky Batterer Intervention Program
Last week’s Quality webinar featuring Nick Davis is a must watch for anyone who might come in contact with a victim/survivor of intimate partner abuse, but should definitely be shared with ED staff, social workers and caregivers in and out of the hospital setting.
Nick is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Autonomous Batterer Intervention Provider located in Kentucky with over a decade of experience providing Abuse Intervention Services. Since March 2024 he has served as the Lead for the Education Accountability and Change for the Prevention of Partner Abuse (EACPPA) team at ZeroV, Kentucky’s domestic violence coalition.
Nick provided an overview of the Kentucky Batterer Intervention Program. He also shared what batterer intervention is, where to find more information about this topic and discussed what a community-coordinated response is and how to accomplish it.
