KHA Quality Award

Honoring Leadership and Innovation in Patient Care Quality and Safety

The Kentucky Hospital Association Annual Quality Conference will be held March 23-24, 2026 at the Louisville Marriott East. The title of this year’s Conference is “The Perfect Shot for Quality: Achieving Precision and Excellence in Every Move”.

On that note, we are thrilled to announce that the application period for the 2026 KHA Quality Award is now open! This award is intended to highlight and celebrate exciting innovations that have been achieved in quality, safety, and overall commitment to excellence in patient care within our Kentucky hospitals. Winners will be notified by Monday, February 9, 2026. They will be formally announced at the Annual KHA Quality Conference in Louisville this coming March.

The following hospital categories each have their own distinct opportunity to apply:

  • Critical Access Hospital (<25 Beds)
  • Acute Care Hospitals With 100 or Fewer Beds
  • Acute Care Hospitals Between 101-250 Beds
  • Acute Care Hospitals With Greater than 250 Beds
  • Freestanding Psychiatric Hospitals
  • Freestanding Rehab Hospitals
  • Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
  • Hospital Systems

To submit your hospital for consideration, please complete the application by clicking the link below  no later than end of business on Friday, January 23, 2026. Please note that in order to allow a fair chance of winning for all applicants, no late entries will be accepted.
