The Kentucky Sepsis Consortium is working with hospitals statewide to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by sepsis. Kentucky hospitals are working together toward standardization of early detection and timely treatment of sepsis through engagement in development of multi-disciplinary teams to embrace collaborative learning in order to achieve appropriate, timely and reliable implementation of evidence based interventions.
