Application for Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Scholarship
The KHA Quality team is excited to announce that the KHA Quality team will be awarding a scholarship opportunity to earn the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credentials for the October Diabetes Awareness Campaign!
The deadline for applications is April 30, 2026 at 5 PM ET.
Earning the CDCES credentials will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes, distinguish you among your peers, enhance your career opportunities, and help improve the health of people living with diabetes. The KHA quality team will enroll 10 participants of KHA member hospitals to sit for the CDCES exam, which is a $350 value!
Eligibility Requirements to take the exam:
- Employee of a KHA member hospital
- Earned one the qualifying professional disciplines
- Prior professional practice experience providing diabetes care and education
- Mastered the knowledge and application associated with the specialty
