Dr. Maureen Marra, MD, FACOG, Physician Advisor for the Department of Women and Children’s Health at Baptist Health Louisville was our guest speaker. She presented maternal sepsis with an overview of how it is differently recognized and treated as well as shared guidelines and tools from the KyMMM Task Force OB Sepsis sub-committee. Deb and Dr. Marra shared an opportunity for a possible partnership related to the care of this important segment of our sepsis population.
