- Best practices for infection prevention
- Standards for environmental safety
- Medical staff privileges and bylaws
- Safe nursing practices
- Pharmaceutical safety
- QAPI
- Utilization Review
- Patient Rights
…and much, much more!
The HACP-CMS credential is valid for 2 years and requires related continuing education hours to renew. More information is available on the certification at this link: https://cihq-hacp.org/
The KHA HACP-CMS Scholarship (an approximate $375.00 value) includes a full-day educational course led by CIHQ’s founder and CEO Rick Curtis. A continental breakfast, lunch and snacks during this day of learning will be provided by KHA. The day of the course attendees will be emailed log-in information with which they may access the fully-online examination they will take in order to earn the HACP-CMS credential. In addition, many attendees will be eligible for 6.0 continuing education hours (CEs). Participants are encouraged to check with their state governing/ licensure bodies to ensure that the CE hours will be applicable to their specific professional credential.
